ATTRIBUTES: Iolite is a "vision stone", also called "violet stone" and also known as Cordierite.  It activitates the third eye and facilitates visualization and intuitive insight when all the chakras are in alignmnet.  It stimulates connection to inner knowing and have been used in shamanic ceremonies and assists journeys out of the body.  In contact with the auric field and aligns with the subtle bodies.  This stone can overcome codependency within your partnership.  It is one of the major stones for use in third eye/crown area during healing, guided meditation and during astral travel.  

HEALING: This stone balances the male/female aspects of ones character.  It has been used as a compass to have knowledge of directions and directional forces.  Iolite creates a strong constitution, reduces fatty deposits in the body, mitigates the effects of alcohol, and supports detoxification and regeneration of the liver.  It also treats malaria, fevers, aids the pituitary, the sinuses, the respiratory system and alleviates migraine headaches and kills bacteria.
